Tukolaganhe was born from the heart of the community, and for the Owino family this connection is essential. It is the foundation on which the entire project has been built.

Our goal is not only to provide quality education for the youngest children, but also to ensure continuity as they grow, helping them prepare for a stable and dignified future.
​
To support this vision, Moses developed the idea of
creating a Vocational Centre—a space where teenagers and adults from the community can attend afternoon trainings that equip them with practical skills and guide them toward employment opportunities.
Through these programs, we aim to strengthen the community from within, offering education, empowerment, and new possibilities for the future.

How is this done?
Our vision is to make the most of the school’s space by opening the classrooms to the community after 4:00 PM, once the children have gone home.
In the afternoons, these rooms become training spaces where teenagers and adults can come to learn practical skills that support their future employment.
To make this possible, the foundation plans to hire specialists in six key areas, offering short vocational courses designed to meet the real needs of the community.
The foundation will provide all necessary materials, cover the cost of the instructors, and support the educational development of each program.

At the moment, we already have SOME resources available:
4 sewing machines / 2 motorbikes for mechanical training / 5 computers / A garden for agricultural practice / Basic metalwork and carpentry tools

Unfortunately, this project is not yet fully operational. We still lack the financial resources and professional support needed to bring it to life.

That is why we are actively seeking volunteers.
If you have training or experience in any of these six areas and would like to help empower this community, we need you. Your knowledge can open doors, create opportunities, and transform lives.
